Course Maintenance Closure – 26 & 27 March Please note that our annual course maintenance will take place on Thursday 26th and Friday 27th March. The course will be closed on both days while the team carries out essential work. On Friday 27th March, we will aim to reopen the course later in the day, subject to the work being completed on schedule. We will update members on the day via the usual course status channels. Thank you for your understanding and patience while we carry out this important maintenance work.

Winter Rules Now in Effect – From 1st November Please note that Winter Rules are now in place at Strawberry Hill Golf Club. Winter Mats: USE OF PERSONAL FAIRWAY MATS IS COMPULSORY FOR ALL. Please also use the tee box mats when teeing off. Visitors can hire a mat from the bar. Preferred Lies: You may lift, clean, and place your ball within 6 inches of its original spot (no nearer the hole). Rule E-12: Allows you to lift, clean, and replace your ball without penalty in designated areas where mud or wet conditions affect play. Thank you for your cooperation and for helping protect the course this winter. When you arrive at the Club please check-in at the Pro Shop before commencing play. Each player in your group may be asked to show a valid handicap certificate. You can do this using the England Golf app (MyEG). We recommend you arrive in good time before your tee booking to allow for this administration. If the Pro Shop is closed when you arrive please check-out at the end of your round.
