Winter Rules Now in Effect – From 26th October Please note that Winter Rules are now in place at Strawberry Hill Golf Club. Winter Mats: USE OF PERSONAL FAIRWAY MATS IS COMPULSORY FOR ALL. Please also use the tee box mats when teeing off. Visitors can hire a mat from the bar. Preferred Lies: You may lift, clean, and place your ball within 6 inches of its original spot (no nearer the hole). Rule E-12: Allows you to lift, clean, and replace your ball without penalty in designated areas where mud or wet conditions affect play. Thank you for your cooperation and for helping protect the course this winter. When you arrive at the Club please check-in at the Pro Shop before commencing play. Each player in your group may be asked to show a valid handicap certificate. You can do this using the England Golf app (MyEG). We recommend you arrive in good time before your tee booking to allow for this administration. If the Pro Shop is closed when you arrive please check-out at the end of your round.

IMPORTANT BOOKING INFORMATION An official handicap certificate is required to play at SHGC. If you wish to book 18 holes, please reserve two 9-hole rounds. Estimated 9-hole round times are as follows: a 1-ball takes approximately 1 hour, a 2-ball 1 hour 10 minutes, a 3-ball 1 hour 25 minutes, and a 4-ball 1 hour 45 minutes.
